Happy Birthday Danica and Brinley!

It's my lovely sister and niece's birthday today.

And what a lovely day it was.

We made earrings, went to the mall, then went to see princess and the frog and brinley lost her pants and had to wear a blanket because she was butt naked haha (: We then ate bombay house that was oh so good and topped off the day with a chocolate pie from the lion house pantry!

 

Danica Jan Rugg turned twenty two and Brinley Rey Peterson turned three today.

she's a crafty one

i was feeling crafty yesterday.

weird i know.

so i went out to Robert's and Joann's and bought stuff to make earrings (:

i think I'm gonna like this crafty stuff.

Voila!

If you know me you know that, i am not crafty.

not any bone in my body is crafty.

and yet i find myself wanting so bad to become a crafty person.
this website, will make you want to become a crafty person.

this is one of my new years resolutions.

im gonna start off small and work myself up.

maybe i'll start of with something like this:

and one day i want to work myself up to trying this:

this is something i shall be trying this week with the help of my

amazing sewer/brother-in-law brett(he doesn't know he is helping yet)

its called a shirt skirt.

take a mens shirt, and do a few crafty things to it and voila!

haha at least i pray its that easy.

yes. i did cry in this movie when dumbledore died.

i watched it again the other day and yes, i cried. again.

i love these books and have and unbelievable love for the characters,

so of course when he dies my heart is just so sad every time!

just thought i would let you know how big of a sob i am.

christmas season

I am  appreciating the christmas season a lot more this year. I think its because I'm living away from home and i miss my family more.

Now that I'm home and finals are done I'm excited to really get into the christmas sprit (:

here's some things ive done, or am going to do in light of the christmas season:

o curl up by the fire, and drink hot coco
o go sledding with brinley
o do the "to-doe" list with missy
o play with the logan family in the snow
o decorate the christmas tree with strung popcorn
o listen to a choir sing christmas carols 
o eat lots and lots peppermint candy kisses
o eat even more peppermint candy kisses
o watch the traditional christmas movies, white christmas,
holiday inn, its a wonderful life.

Yesterday was everyones last day for finals so yes its true, i made it through my first finals week! So, on our way back from our temple adventure we were *reflecting* on the past semester and what we have learned. Here's a few of the things i have learned:

> moving out requires a lot of money and amazing parents who are very very generous

> my body does not like me very much when i stay up until 4 in the morning, then wake up for school at 8.

> college is harder than high school (surpise!) no more just coasting and sucking up to teachers to give you good grades.

> i cant live in a mess. if my apartment is messy, i cant concentrate on anything until it is clean.

> i have the BEST group of girls in the whole world so you should just all be jealous!

> i don't really love the word growing up. "progress" i like a lot better. 

> even though i have learned a ridiculous amount since moving up here to logan, i have SOO much more to learn and i know i wont ever stop learning.

> logan has the best sunsets.

> cassidy hall knows tanner astle and i cant even tell you how happy that makes me.

> no matter how hard i try to eat balanced meals, my diet actually consists of: melted string cheese wrapped in turkey, toasted peanut and jelly sandwiches, asian sides, otter pops, frozen corn and peas, salsa and sour cream with corn chips, and golden oreos. (don't hate me mom)

> when you decided to take someone's light bulbs, couch's, and put gold fish in peoples toilets, they are not very happy.

> its so cold up here, your nose hairs freeze. Ya, weirdest thing you will ever experience.

> logan utah is my favorite place on earth.

rash decisions and loving life with the logan family

i made a rash decision.. and let kirsten frank cut straight across bangs. i have been wanting to do it for a long time and im very glad i did it (:

i really don't love my clothing selection, mainly because i have this whole other style of clothing in mind that i want but new clothing but it is SO expensive and i just want so much!
